Essen 2007: Porsche 9ff GT9

A new supercar has been born! This is the new Porsche GT9, created by tuning company 9ff. The GT9 is a car that will be able to reach a topspeed of 407 kilometers per hour. This means it can compete with the Bugatti Veyron. Both cars are capable to reach such a high speed. 9ff has built a car with a 4.2 L V6 with two turbochargers. The total amount of power is 910 bhp! This is an incredible achievement from such a relatively small engine.

The weight of the car has been lowered thanks to the use of plenty of carbon and even wood. To prevent the car from going airborn, the length has been increased with 30 cm and the roof is lowered with 12 cm. According to 9ff the car is based on the new 997 GT3.

Yes, it is quite expensive. There will only be 20 built of this supercar with a pricetag of 476.000 euro excluding taxes. Ah well, it fits nicely next to a Bugatti Veyron in the Middle East.
