Weird cars, also known as replicas
Most of us dream about owning a supercar once. Unfortunately, the biggest group will never be able to afford such a ride. The prices are too high and that's a bummer. Thank god there are people who wouldn't mind driving a fake Ferrari or Lamborghini. These kitcars, also known as replicas, are sometimes five to six times cheaper than the original. Creative people use the Toyota MR2 and Pontiac Fiero quiten often as donor cars for their projects.
The people behind Rarecars.org turned their hobby into their business. The biggest difference is that these people don't build replicas based on others car, like a Fiero or MR2, but they create the car from new materials. Unfortunately, all cars come with the same engine. They use a 2.8 liter V6 on a General Motors chassis. Rarecars.org needs sixteen weeks to compleet a car. At the moment they have a couple of cars for sale. Check them out and tell us what you think.
